Top Five Easy Diabetic Desserts

The following list of diabetic recipes has to be my favorite. Think of it as a top five list. The first sugar free dessert recipe is easy as pie. It involves some sugar free cookies – I use sugar free Oreos , some sugar free ice cream, a bit of skim milk, and a blender. I simply blend them all up to make icy cool, cookies n’ cream milkshake that is low in sugar and carbohydrates. Whenever I eat this sugar free diabetic dessert, I usually make this milkshake in small quantities because I have my desserts in moderation.

The next recipe involves using sugar free chocolate pudding, sugar free whipped topping, and some pie crust. I use wheat pie crust whenever I can find it, but all I do is make the sugar free chocolate pudding, then place it in the pie crust when it is done, and then put the whipped topping on top. This makes for a tasty chocolate mousse pie whenever I get a hankering for some chocolate.

This next one is a favorite of mine during the warm months. There is nothing like a few, cool, perfectly squared pieces of gelatin on a hot day. I use the sugar free version to fit my particular diet and then top it off with some sugar free/ fat free whipped topping.

One of my favorite fruit desserts uses granny smith apples and a bit of granulated splenda brown sugar. I take the skin off of the apple, dice it up, and then warm it up. After that, I add the granulated splenda to give it a bit more flavor. To make this even better I add some sugar free whipped topping.

The last of these easy diabetic desserts is a sugar free popsicle recipe. It real simple, all I do is get a set of those homemade popsicle trays, and then get some sugar free juice. Once the sugar free juice is frozen, it makes a tasty frozen popsicle treat. Thanks for reading this personal recipe, have a great day.
